I was in Freshii the other day and saw they had these yummy looking OG Energii Bites, unfortunately I could not get them because they contain milk & honey. I decided to make my own version – Vegan Freshii Energy Bites Recipe!
Energii Bites – only FIVE ingredients feat: oats, peanut butter, coconut, chocolate chips & honey! 🔋👏 #EatEnergize #LetsLoveKale pic.twitter.com/iFqPZbdULa

Thankfully they are super easy to make and only have 5 ingredients. The ingredients in the original Freshii Energii Bites are – peanut butter, honey, oats, coconut, chocolate chips. To make these vegan friendly you just have to swap out the honey for agave or maple syrup and use dairy free chocolate chips. Like I said EASY.
Now I get to snack on these yummy energy bites all week long and not just the one day I would go to Freshii. Thank you Freshii for your easy recipe inspiration.
As any good recipe should be my Vegan Freshii Energy Bites are:
-
- easy
- quick
- vegan
- healthy
- yummy
Vegan Energy Bites
Ingredients
- 1 cup Rolled Oats
- 2/3 cup Natural Peanut Butter
- 1/2 cup Coconut Flakes
- 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips dairy free
- 2 Tbsp Agave or Maple Syrup
Instructions
-
In a medium bowl stir all ingredients until combined
-
Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes
-
Roll into 16 balls
-
Store in an airtight container in refrigerator for up to a week
When making energy bites I prefer to use Enjoy Life mini chocolate chips so I am sure to get chocolate in every bite. I also use Smucker’s Natural Peanut Butter as it has no added sugar or added oil. I typically use old fashioned or quick oats; as for sweetener I prefer agave but maple syrup will do just fine too. Sweetened coconut flakes are usually in my cupboard but unsweetened work nicely also.
