My healthy Homemade Chocolate Almond Butter recipe is something you will want to make more than once. It’s way easier to make nut butter than you think. You essentially only need 1 ingredient – nuts; but since you are in control you can add in so many great flavors. Sure buying a jar of almond butter can be super convenient but most are full of unneeded ingredients like salt, extra sugar, and mysterious natural flavors. Sometimes buying peanut butter is my worst nightmare because it seems like they ALL contain sugar, which is unnecessary; thankfully I found that Smuckers Naturals is only peanuts and salt & it is my go to peanut butter. This example of sugar snuck into food is a great reason to make your own homemade nut butter so that you have the control of what is going into it.
Why make your own nut butter
