Versatile and easy to prepare; oatmeal balls or energy balls are one of my favorite snacks to make. Just mix the ingredients and roll into balls. Trail Mix Energy Balls are an easy to make recipe and a great homemade substitution to processed energy bars. I store my energy balls in plastic baggies and bring them to work as a healthy snack.
This variation of energy balls has a little bit of everything. And just like trail mix there are so many options and variations you can make with your ingredients, so have fun with your balls! Trail mix energy balls recipe is vegan by using non-dairy chocolate chips and vegan protein powder. To add in some extra fiber and omega-3 make sure to add in ground Flaxseed.
