With only 4 main ingredients this quick and easy to make oatmeal raisin cookie recipe will be your new go to. No dairy, no refined sugar, and no oil just a few healthy ingredients. Bananas, almond butter, Oats and Raisins. It’s really that easy. 

The great thing about this recipe is that it is super simple and quick to make. With only a few ingredients it gives you room to be creative with your cookies. Try peanut butter instead of almond butter. Add in cinnamon, nutmeg, chocolate chips or chopped nuts to create your perfect oatmeal raisin cookie. 

I love how easy and simple these cookies are to make. No crazy ingredients. Just a few healthy staples that you probably already have on hand. 

These easy vegan oatmeal raisin cookies are a perfect healthy snack. Or if you are like me you will grab a few on your way out the door for breakfast. Don’t let the lack of sugar or oil fool you these little cookies can be quite addictive. 

Bananas- this fruit is a great source of natural sugar, potassium & fiber.
Almond Butter- a healthy source of fat (monounsaturated) & protein; full of vitamin & minerals like vitamin E & Calcium.
Oats-a whole grain full of fiber, manganese, vitamin B1, Iron, Zinc and more. 
Raisins- full of natural sugar, fiber and potassium. 

Filling your plate with fruit, whole grains and choosing healthy fats are important for a nutrient rich diet. These easy oatmeal raisin cookies would be a great sweet treat to eat some fruit, whole grain and nuts.

Easy Vegan Oatmeal Raisin Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

  • cup mashed banana about 2 ripe bananas
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup raisins
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract optional

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a bowl mash 2 bananas to get about 2/3 cup.

  3. Mix in remaining ingredients.

  4. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

  5. Spoon cookie dough onto cookie sheet. Use spoon to shape cookie as desired as it will not spread out.

  6. Bake 12-15 minutes. Makes about 10 cookies.

Delish! And I absolutely love that there are only 4 whole food ingredients, none of which are added sugars! I added some cinnamon and they’re great. Do your store these on the counter, or in the fridge?
