Avocado Toast with Everything Bagel seasoning

Basic but delicious, sorta like an elevated version of salt and pepper avocado toast. Avocado toast or bagel topped with Trader Joe’s everything bagel seasoning. This is pretty much everything! Also my go to Avocado toast variation.

Avocado Toast with Tomato & Seeds

Smashed avocado with cherry tomatoes and crunchy pumpkin seed kernels or sunflower seed kernels on a high protein whole grain bread. Step it up with some balsamic glaze.

  • 2 slices sprouted whole grain bread
  • 1 large avocado mashed
  • 6-8 cherry tomatoes halved
  • 2 TBSP seeds (sunflower, pumpkin, etc)
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Note if seeds are salted omit salt or use less

  1. Put bread in toaster
  2. Cut avocado in half.
  3. With spoon scoop out avocado and put in a bowl.
  4. With a fork smash the avocado.
  5. Spread avocado on to toast
  6. Cut cherry tomatoes in half and place on avocado.
  7. Sprinkle with seeds
  8. Salt and pepper to taste
  9. Enjoy!

Avocado Toast with Peanut Butter

Smashed avocado with a sweet peanut butter drizzle. Step it up with chia seed or coconut flakes.

  • 2 slices whole wheat bread
  • 1 large avocado
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • 2 TBSP agave syrup
  1. Put bread in toaster
  2. Cut avocado in half.
  3. With spoon scoop out avocado and put in a bowl.
  4. With a fork smash the avocado.
  5. Spread avocado on to toast
  6. In a small bowl mix peanut butter and agave
  7. Drizzle on toast
  8. Enjoy!

Avocado Toast with Portabellos

Smashed avocado with garlic portobello mushroom slices and a dash of cayenne pepper.

  • 2 small portabello mushrooms
  • 1 TBSP chopped garlic
  • 1-2 TBSP olive oil
  • 1 large avocado
  • 2 slices whole wheat bread
  • Cayenne pepper and salt to taste
  1. In frying pan heat olive oil
  2. Add garlic then washed and sliced portabello caps (stems removed)
  3. Saute a few minutes until mushrooms tender
  4. Put bread in toaster
  5. Cut avocado in half.
  6. With spoon scoop out avocado and put in a bowl.
  7. With a fork smash the avocado.
  8. Spread avocado on to toast
  9. Lay the portobello slices on toast
  10. Cayenne pepper and salt to taste
  11. enjoy!

Avocado Toast with Hummus

Roasted red pepper hummus with sliced avocado, salt and pepper. Stepped it up with some everything bagel seasoning from Trader Joe’s. If you like heat add some sriracha or buffalo sauce.
