After a quick google search to find out what my vegan food options were in the Cleveland airport came up pretty dry, I took it upon myself to put together a list to help out anyone looking for a vegan food option in the airport. I was very surprised to find some good vegan options at the Cleveland Airport, not just hummus, pretzels and fruit – not that I don’t love eating those but sometimes you just need a real meal. The Cleveland Airport is relatively small so you have plenty of time to make it to any of these locations and to your gate.
Main Terminal
Auntie Anne’s – A quick stop for some pretzels. Get the original, cinnamon sugar or almond without butter.
Bruegger’s Bagels – Get a Blueberry, Everything, Onion, Plain, Poppy, Pumpernickel, Rosemary Olive Oil or Sesame bagel. Top it with hummus or peanut butter.
Currito – You can build your own burrito, bowl or salad with the many vegan ingredients they have. The Bangkok, Teriyaki and Spicy Thai are all vegan, you can even add tofu. Vegan smoothie options include: Berry Blend, Healthnut, Orange Glo and Supergreen. If you just want a light snack they also serve chips and salsa (all of which are vegan). When I visited I had the Bangkok bowl which had cabbage, carrots, rice and a yummy peanut sauce, I also added tofu.
Dunkin’ Donuts – Dunkin offers almond milk to add to coffee and a variety of teas. Get a Bagel (Cinnamon Raisin, Everything or Sesame), English Muffin, Hash Browns or oatmeal. If you want to try the beyond sausage make sure to get it plain (no egg or cheese).
Concourse A
800 Degrees Woodfired Kitchen- They offer a vegan impossible pizza. The power bowl is vegan and a healthy option; I thought the tahini dressing was perfect with the kale.
Starbucks Coffee – Get a coffee, latte or tea with soy, coconut or almond milk. Mocha and most syrups are vegan, avoid the white mocha, pumpkin spice & caramel drizzle.
Concourse B
Auntie Anne’s – Get the original, cinnamon sugar or almond without butter.
Inca Tea Cafe – Inca has dairy free milk options and vegan friendly snacks and treats.
Subway – Build a veggie sub or salad.
Concourse C
Bar Symon – A sit down restaurant with a few items that can be made vegan. They offer the Impossible burger, but you will need to modify or get it on a salad to make it vegan. The chickpea salad could be vegan with no cheese. As any restaurant fries and chips & guac are probable vegan options.
Cantina Taqueria and Tequila Bar – The manu has a few vegetarian options – vegetarian chili, vegetarian burrito & vegetarian tacos that can likely be made vegan.
Starbucks Coffee- Get a coffee, latte or tea with soy, coconut or almond milk. Mocha and most syrups are vegan, avoid the white mocha, pumpkin spice & caramel drizzle.
Potbelly Sandwich Shop – Create your own oatmeal and choose from various fruit & nut toppings. Get a vegetarian or mediterranean sandwich with no cheese on white bread. Salads can be modified to be vegan, get balsamic or vinaigrette dressing.
Wow Bao – Build a bowl with rice, zoodles or lettuce cups with vegetables and the soy-ginger or peanut dressing.
Inca Tea Cafe – Inca has dairy free milk options and vegan friendly snacks and treats. I got a Chai Latte with Oat milk and a Vegan Carrot muffin and another time I got a smoothie.
*Please use your own discretion and ask each establishment if an item is 100% vegan.
