Date Paste

Prep Time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 16 oz pitted dates
  • 1 cup hot water

Instructions

  1. Pit your dates and put them in a bowl with one cup of hot water.

  2. Let dates sit in hot water for 10 minutes.

  3. In a food processor with S blade add dates, leave the water out.

  4. Blend until smooth. Add tbsp of the water at a time for a thinner/ desired consistency.

  5. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.

Recipe Notes

  • Medjool dates work the best as they are softer.
  • If not using medjool dates you may want to soak in hot water longer than 10 minutes.
