Healthy Buffalo Chickpea Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 3 tbsp hummus or tahini
  • 3 tbsp Red Hot or other hot sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse chickpeas.

  2. In a medium bowl roughly mash the chickpeas.

  3. Add 2 stalks of chopped celery & remaining ingredients. Mix to combine.

  4. Add more hot sauce to taste.

Recipe Notes

Enjoy on a sandwich, wrap, pita, lettuce wrap with some greens and other veggies. Or add to a big bowl of leafy greens for a quick salad.
