Cut asparagus into 1-2 inch pieces, be sure to remove woody ends
Cook pasta per package instructions, in last minute of cooking add asparagus and frozen peas
Drain pasta and rinse with cold water
To make dressing, in a small bowl mix chopped fresh parsley, fresh lemon juice. thinly sliced shallots, pressed or minced garlic, vinegar & salt and pepper
In a large bowl add cooled pasta, cherry tomatoes and thinly sliced red onion, toss with dressing.
Top with a few capers and S&P to preference.
If you enjoy a kick add some paprika or red chili flakes to the dressing.
Enjoy over arugula or other greens.
