Dairy Free Oreo Truffles

Ingredients

  • 21 Oreos or about 2 Cups
  • 1/2 Cup Coconut Cream
  • 1 Cup vegan chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a food processor add Oreo cookies and coconut cream. Process until thoroughly mixed and a dough like mixture forms.
  2. Refrigerate mixture for 30 minutes. This will help the dough to firm up.
  3. Roll into balls and place on a parchment or wax paper lined cookie sheet.
  4. Put in freezer for at least 10 minutes until balls are solid.
  5. While the balls are in the freezer melt your chocolate. You can microwave in 30 second intervals mixing in between or set up a double broiler on the stove top.
  6. Take your balls 1 at a time and dip into the chocolate. Use a fork to lift out of the chocolate. Place on parchment lined cookie sheet.
  7. Optional: you can top with Oreo cookie crumbs or drizzle with remaining chocolate.
  8. When all ball are covered in chocolate Place in fridge to set.

Recipe Notes

For this recipe I used double stuffed Oreos, using a different cookies & cream cookie may yield slightly different results.
